Little Paris Harties

Little Paris Hartbeespoort

Little Paris Harties

I don’t know about you, but Paris is definitely a bucket list destination for me. So, obviously, Little Paris Hartbeespoort is a cute spot that quickly grabbed my attention. This is quite a popular place and very social media busy, yes I had FOMO and had to check it out.

Where is Little Paris Hartbeespoort

Located in Hartbeespoort, on the R511, which is about 30 min from Pretoria central, this location is something you would definitely want to check out. Best known for the cute Eiffel tower replica as well as the love lock bridge this is a well-known romantic setting.

What to expect on-site Little Paris Hartbeespoort?

So, the whole setup is something that resembles the setting of Paris itself. Here you can expect a cute gift shop, a deli, boutique as well as the well-known French toast coffee café. This was also a new find for me, as I initially thought that the area only had a café. I did get to checkout most of the shops, get some souvenirs from the gift shop and of course, yes food!

Now I have to mention that when it comes to the café specifically you would have to be very patient. The French toast coffee café is very popular so you can expect to be out on a waiting list before being seated. The café is very cozy and gives great attention to detail. The menu however I personally found very limited and full of French toast. (I should have expected it judging from the name) so yes, a hint from my side: Most of the portions are served with French toast! However you can find the full menu on their site here. I am not a great fan of French toast but the wine and dessert made up for it.

Was I impressed with little Paris hartbeespoort?

Yes

I loved that the place evoked a feeling of actually being in Paris, it has great attention to detail. From the setting to the cute French music. I Loved that the place is family-friendly so it would make for a nice date or even family day out. It is definitely great for taking pictures and you can also engrave your initials onto a padlock and put it onto the love lock bridge, just like they used to do in Paris! I didn’t however like the fact that you have to wait on a list prior to being seated. And again, the French toast coffee café menu was not that great for me.

Questions asked about the place:

  • Is there an entrance fee to little Paris hartbeespoort? Nope! It is absolutely free.

  • Does it really feel like being in Paris? From the research I’ve done on Paris, yes it does

  • Little Paris Hartbeespoort activities? I have mentioned everything onsite above

  • Is there a bookshop onsite? I did not go into it, but yes there is.
