What is Boss Babes of South Africa?
Boss Babes of South Africa is a powerful movement of women (obviously lol) founded by Kovini Moodley. This was done to embrace women empowerment and uplift women creatives in Johannesburg, South Africa. The digital space is currently growing and evolving very quickly. The idea of women helping each other to succeed is exactly what a Boss Babe would do.
This is all about digital woman empowerment as well as normalizing and embracing diversity and inclusion.
What attracted me to this movement?
Being a woman in South Africa means that we have always been looked down upon not only in society but in the professional environment as well. This movement of women is something that I immediately resonated with. Here women are embraced and encouraged to implement change. As an advocate for women uplifting and assisting each other, I am very proud to be part of this movement. And most importantly, this sisterhood.
In an space and time where we have not always had the upper hand. I believe this is the time for women to come together and help each other reach different spaces. This movement forms a family that holds each other up. Not only that, but it helps us to inspire each other but constantly build our skillsets whilst doing so. As a woman, this is exactly the type of inspirational platform we should all be on.
