On planning my birthday, I knew that one of the things I had on my to-do list was boat cruises. Obviously started googling boat cruises near Johannesburg and yes, ended up in Hartbeespoort again! So of course I will blog about the boat cruise in harties.
I did not mind this at all, I love the Hartbeespoort area. The idea of having a boat cruise on the Hartbeespoort dam was kind of exciting. Now there is a lot of options when it comes to boat cruises in Harties. We ended up opting for the Harties boat company, you can check out their website here for all the available packages.
How much is a boat cruise in Hartbeespoort?
There is a wide range of boat cruise options which can range from R350 to around R600. But we opted for a simple brunch cruise which cost R495 per adult and R245 per child.
What does this include?
A 2-hour boat cruise on Hartbeespoort dam and finger food platters.
What to wear to a boat cruise party?
It is fairly windy on the boat cruises. So, if you’re scared of the cold like me maybe wear a long sleeve or bring a jersey. There are very cute views on the boat cruise on the Hartbeespoort dam. Be extra careful about your outfit for the boat cruise (for the Gram).
How was the boat cruise in harties experience?
Honest review is that the cruise is very enjoyable unfortunately I had awful seasickness throughout. I spent most of the duration seated. The cruise had good platters and a cash bar with a variety of drinks. You can also expect some South African jams to be played throughout the session.
